Smoothie for Bone and Joint Health

So it has come to my attention that one of our subscribers is suffering from some bone related health issues, so I promised to find her a smoothie good for bones and joints.

Orange-Banana Smoothie

Ingredients:

1 frozen banana
1/2 cup plain or vanilla yogurt
1 cup calcium-fortified orange juice

Directions:

Mix in blender until smooth.

For a veggie alternative try this one:

1 cup green grapes
1 cup baby spinach leaves
1 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt
1 frozen banana, sliced into chunks
1/2 cup pineapple chunks (packed in water not syrup)
1 cup calcium-fortified orange juice

spin the grapes, leaves and juice first to avoid lumps. Add everything else and blend until smooth. The yogurt hides the taste of the spinach :)

There are no fruits that contain vitamin D and the only veggie that does is a white mushroom so I suggest that unless you spend lots of time outdoors in the sun, pick up a bottle of vitamin d drops from your pharmacy or health food store. 1 drop a day is all you need and it’s tasteless :)

    I m suffering from rheumatoid arthritis from last 16 years, at 2001/2002 I had surjery in both my knee replacement than on 2008 hip replacement after my operation I became careless n sometimes 3rd floor, also 4 th floor walking up by my feet also keep standing 15 to 20 minutes talking with customers due to this reason I was again operated for revision knee repacement just now, from last 16 years i avoid eating sour fruits or yogurt ,many veg.like ladies finger,spinach,patta gobi,toor daal,because I always worried about indigestion,in morning after bed my hands like finger,ankle,albow become stiff after toilet get some relief when I wake up I used to drink 4/5 glass of warm water,than 2/3cups of tea than on break I eat grinded soup of loki(doodhi),coliflower,carrots 3/4glass in lunch I eat wheat chappati(roti),veg. like loki( doodhi),saragva sing,karela,tendli,onion,potato,coliflower etc this are weekly timetable, from last 15 days I m regularly taking sun bath,for 1 hours my finger at joint has swelling does not have pain,so I wants you to suggest me my daily food asper your experience Awaiting JaiShreeKrishna
