cherry banana smoothie

Ingredients:

1/2 frozen pitted unsweetened cherries
1 banana (peeled) (also good frozen)
4 oz. plain low-fat yogurt (I’ve also used cherry yogurt or cherry vanilla yogurt and it makes it sweeter and brings out the cherry flavor)
1/2 cup skim milk (add a bit more if it’s too thick for your taste)

Directions:

Blend until smooth

This smoothie is not as low in calories as most I post here but you can control the caloric content by replacing the 1/2 and 1/2 with a lower calorie substitute. Either way this is one decadent dessert smoothie.

There is something good about the taste of cherry and almond. This is why they go great in the smoothie. So, we are here to show you how to make your own cherry almond smoothie which is super easy.

Inredients

1 eight ounce container of cherry yogurt

1 eleven ounce can of mandarin oranges (packed in water rather than syrup) well drained

Half a banana which is peeled and sliced

¼ C half and half cream

1 tsp. almond extract

Directions

Just as with any other smoothie, you just need to put these in the blender and let her rip. Then you have a very tasteful treat to drink.
